Spaced repetition, in plain terms
After you practice, Holdfast schedules a return. Passages you still hold can wait longer. Passages that slipped come back sooner. You do not have to invent the interval yourself.
That schedule shows up in Today, next to any passage you are still learning. The point is one list for “what is in front of me now.”
Not a streak product
Holdfast is built for a faithful return, not for a public fire emoji. Missing a day does not erase the passage. It waits.
Library, archive, restore
You can keep a passage, archive it when you want it out of the active rhythm, and restore it later. Archive is not deletion. Deletion of a passage or of an account is a separate, explicit action.
Common questions
Is this Anki for the Bible?
It is spaced review for Scripture you choose to carry, inside a native memorization app. It is not a generic flashcard toolbox and it does not claim Anki compatibility.
Can I set my own interval?
The app owns the review date as part of the practice. The honest work is showing up for what is due.
