Why Holdfast exists
Many Bible apps are built for reading, listening, or highlighting. Holdfast is built for recall. The point is to find the words again later, not only to see them again today.
You keep passages in a library, practice them with as much support as you need, then try without the words in front of you. Spaced review brings a passage back when it is due, so yesterday’s work has a next step.
How we treat your practice
What you practice and how you practice it is between you and God, not a feed. Recall attempts, mistakes, notes, and private recordings you choose to keep stay on your device, except for content you deliberately include in a feedback message. Optional account backup stores only the bounded records described in the privacy policy.
There are no ads. We do not sell user data. App analytics use coarse, predefined events — never Scripture text or anything you typed or said.
Who publishes it
Holdfast is published by Fremdly. The current release is a private beta on TestFlight and Google Play internal testing. Features vary by platform and beta build. Holdfast does not replace a Bible translation app, and it does not invent Scripture text.
What this site is for
This website explains the practice, shares the private beta, and gives you a place to ask for help or delete an account. It is not a web version of the app.
